Contact Form / Email Permissions / Dubsado / Automation Confusion
I'm a US based service provider (professional organizer in the state of TN, but I am opening up services to virtual clients from all over) that uses Dubsado embedded forms for potential clients to contact me and book a consult call to see if we'd be a good fit. I've been REALLY confused about whether or not I may add people to my email list / newsletter who contact me and provide me with their email. I have erred on the side of caution and have not sent out any newsletters as a broadcast. I've only used the email to contact them directly to book a call (although usually that's done via text) or send over a proposal and onboarding questionnaire. I just added a permissions statement with a link to my privacy policy with a single checkbox for people to click if they would like to get updates and marketing from me. It's all I could think of. So moving forward, I will manually add them to my list if that's checked. (I get maybe 1-4 leads a month right now, so not terrible). BUT ... am I missing something obvious? Is there a way to a) be GDPR compliant in a contact form in Dubsado, b) automatically add their email from Dubsado to my MailerLite group if okay'd, so they can be added to my welcome sequence

What do you wish you understood more?
No spoilers, but I just wrapped up a SUPER cool new analytics tracker template for April Shop Drop. I had so much fun working on it, and I'm curious: What information or parts of your business do you wish you had a better way of tracking and understanding? Do any pieces of your business feel hard to set goals/metrics for because you just don't know what's realistic or normal? What parts end up being run off a gut feeling, but you wish you had more concrete information?
